One down, one to go...

I should have been ironing, washing up, gardening, baking, hoovering, you name it, I should no doubt have been doing it! But instead, I chose to knit! First glove is finished, and I love it! It fits perfectly (well it does now, I had to frog a finger and the thumb where I'd not read the pattern properly). Can't wait to cast on for number 2 now...

Your glove is beautiful...and I love the little flower motif on the finger.

Hi Shelly I was coming in to say that exact thing....I am finishing up finger two, will post pics later...I really would be done but I stop every other row to try it on, not for fit...it has been perfect thus far....but I like to look at it.

I like the little flower too. I also had trouble with the fingers. I managed to make the little finger too big and the next one too small! I was afraid these were going to be added to my UFO's. So now I am knitting the other glove and I'm going to do all the fingers for both gloves at once. Not sure if this is a great plan really!

Michaela, the glove is beautiful. Be proud of yourself!

I love the variation in the color--subtle, but not too.

I love it! I am hardly started on my glove, guess I'd better make some time for it! It is a bit of a challenge for me....

It's beautiful. It looks like rain is falling on your flower. Great ideas!

Aha Shamrockknits - well done! It was indeed supposed to be rain falling on the flower. Knitted in April, with April showers and all that. Little did I realise that this has been one of the driest Aprils on record!
