Current Progress 4-6-07

KarenGloveKAL4-6-07
Here's the progress of my first glove. It is a much easier knit than I anticipated and I'm really enjoying it!

And, below is the yarn that I have chosen for my planned 2nd pair of these gloves:

Glove KAL Pair 2
This is Mountain Colors Barefoot sock yarn in the colorways Goldrush and Spruce.

Please let me know your thoughts on my glove progress, so far, and the yarn color combination for my planned second pair.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Shelly

Shelly: I am so loving your glove, at first i was not sure but they are gorgeous and i love the second pair as well just be careful the greens in the variegated dont get hung in the plain green. I am glad I am not alone now in knitting. I need to post pic, i have 2 fingers done. Love the colors. I hope you are as excited as me on working on these beauties.

I love working on these, too!!!

The pattern is a very fun knit.

Please post a progress picture. I'm excited to see fingers. : )

I'll try to be very careful when I get to pair #2 about having the greens connecting with each other at the edges of the motifs.

You are certainly making progress on your beautiful gloves!

"WOW"! Can you say "beautiful" 3 times fast.... Those are Gorgeous!

I've never knit with more than 1 color at a time, is there a trick?

Thanks for sharing, I look forward to seeing your progress...

Your gloves are looking beautiful. I was having a tough time deciding how to combine my yarns. Seeing your progress helps me make my choices. Aren't KALs great?!

Lovely, lovely colors!

Shelly,

Aren't these fun! I really love your colors. Love the "pop" you have with the color contrast. Really gorgeous. I also like pair #2 choice.

I was shocked that they really are pretty easy so far... Course, I am not to the fingers yet - may through me for a loop then...
